Nuclear Energy

This course is intended for 4th year students in Mechanics-"Énergétique".

Course objectives
1- Understand:
   - the basic principles of nuclear physics and nuclear fission,
   - the different types of nuclear reactors and how they operate,
   - the main components of a nuclear reactor and their importance for safety and security,
   - nuclear energy regulations and radioactive waste management;
2- Be able to apply knowledge of nuclear energy to the production of electricity;
3- Develop skills in risk analysis and crisis management for nuclear facilities.
